Who can apply?

To be considered for the Choose Ohio First Scholarship, you must:

Be a new Lourdes University student enrolled full time
Be a resident of the State of Ohio
Be pursuing an eligible undergraduate STEMM major (science, technology, mathematics, or medicine) major
Be committed to Choose Ohio First program requirements (see below)
Have a current FAFSA on file with the Lourdes Financial Aid office (www.fafsa.ed.gov)
Not already receive a full tuition scholarship
Possess a grade point average of 3.0 or higher OR ACT score of 27 or higher, OR SAT score of 1300 or higher

General Program Requirements:

Be a full-time undergraduate student in an eligible STEMM major (Typically 15 credit hours per semester)
Participate in required cohort activities (i.e.- meetings, poster sessions, etc.)
Meet with assigned advisor at least once a semester
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Make progress toward a STEMM degree
Have a 4-year graduation plan approved by your major advisor
Meet with personnel from the Office of Career Services once per semester for career coaching.
Meet with personnel from the Academic Support Center for coaching, tutoring, or another provided service at least twice over the course of four years.
